A few of the prominent human characters involved with The Settlers.
Abigail Arlyn: Daughter of a preacher, sister of Zach and strictly oppressed, Abigail is a kind and gentle girl with an affinity for butterflies and daydreaming. She’s a soft spoken sort, but is bold in her attempts to win the approval of others, and incidentally that’s how she ends up being tangled with Ashley and friends after making a move to save her soul (her father’s pride in mind)
Caleb Young: The adopted child of two fathers Caleb is an aspiring opera singer and show tunes enthusiast. He never runs out of his boundless energy and most find him sort of strange. He’s always listening to music, following Zach, harassing Gretyl, or getting in unnecessary amounts of trouble with his bff Lucus (Missy’s little brother)
Missy Ohno: She loves to complain and is quite sassy for a Chinese girl who can’t do math or science and literally fits zero of the stereotypes associated with Asian culture. Except for the fact that her family does. Because of this, she enlists the help of her genius little brother in exchange for video games in hopes to cover up her self perceived inadequacies. Her mother died of a brain aneurysm so she lives with her father, a well known surgeon, and her grandmother.
Becky Patterson: We don’t talk about Becky. All that is to be said is she despises Ashley, and nobody really knows why or what happened.
Huda Jahani: Huda is shy, nervous, panic stricken and quiet to the point if she manages to speak she is barely audible. She is a cello prodigy, and is Zach’s best friend from before he became possessed. Even now that he’s a disrespectful nutcase whom takes her friendship for granted, she tries her best to help him and understand what’s gone so horribly wrong. She is infinitely loyal and silently one of the bravest people you could meet.
All of these characters are collaborations with Rachel. Major props to her for the mass amounts of designing and ideas she brings into this. All the characters were made with mixed input.
